Leg Massage – One of the Types of Wellness Massage
Leg massage is an important component of wellness massage, as many clients come with complaints about tense muscles or pain in their legs. The main goal of this massage is deep muscle work to relieve tension, restore muscular and fascial balance, and improve overall blood and lymph circulation.
What Does Leg Massage Include?
For leg massage to be as effective as possible, it should be comprehensive and include:
- Foot massage.
- Massage of the back of the legs, including the glutes and the lumbosacral area.
- Massage of the front of the legs.
However, due to limited session time, 30–40-minute leg massages do not include foot massage, as a separate one-hour session is required for thorough work on the feet.
In my video, I demonstrate and explain the main techniques of a 40-minute leg massage. This video can be helpful for professionals and those looking to improve their skills or learn how to perform a leg massage.
