What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is divided into two main types:

  1. Therapeutic Sports Massage for Athletes
    Specialized techniques are used to aid recovery after training sessions, competitions, injuries, and preparation during events.
  2. Deep Sports Massage – the method I teach
    This is an intensive massage performed in salons, clinics, or studios. It is suitable for people for whom light or moderate-intensity massage has proven to be ineffective.

The massage is performed on a client with naturally developed musculature, which allows me to showcase all the nuances of this intensive technique. The main goals of deep sports massage include:

  • Improving blood circulation in muscles.
  • Enhancing overall wellness effects.

For the massage to be effective, the technique requires sufficient pressure and the application of deep-tissue methods.
